Virtue, a spiritual counselor, encourages everyone to communicate directly with God and the angels, and she maps out several clairvoyant styles for doing so. The method itself is surprisingly simple: breathe deeply and slowly, formulate specific questions, and trust God. She discusses characteristics of true guidance and ways to discern whether knowledge comes from wishful thinking or from interference by the lower self. The ultimate test seems to be whether guidance provides support and encouragement, or fear and negativity; she believes that the latter indicates false guidance. Practical exercises for developing latent abilities are included. This book will be popular with fans of Neale Donald Walsch (Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Putnam, 1996).
